Aristotle’s Nicomachean Ethics focuses on examining virtues. In book 3, Aristotle emphatically argues on the nature of moral act and the degree to which a person remains responsible for his action. On the other hand, it could further be stated that in this concerned text, Aristotle has made significant distinctions between various items including wishful thinking, deliberation and choice. In terms of Nicomachean Ethics, actions are considered to be voluntary and an individual is always considered to be free from external coercion and in this context, freedom plays a major role which makes the concerned individual able to choose between options
